man.. slower than before, the pictures I'd uploaded are all gone.
of course they say that if you upgrade to Club speeds are better.. but seeing is believing and unless I see a preview I'm not believing much.. especially after they deleted my photos!

Yeah, it is slower. I think your pics might still be there, but not accessible yet. I don't understand how they run things. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my money on the "Club"... I've seen a lot of complaints, and now the Better Business Bureau is looking at them.
I try and keep it in perspective: it's entertainment and, once in a while, a good place to find a cool link or get some quick tech info. But beyond that, I have no complaints because I really don't care about what you can or can't say, or if the "moderators" are bullying people, or 'personal attacks', etc.
It seems that the same small group of people (who, apparently, have nothing else to do all day) gripe about everything. My theory is that there's a proportional relationship between the amount of time you spend hanging around an Internet "community" and the level of restlessness and frustration that results. If you look at who's doing the griping, you'll see that they are online all the time.
I post all my photos on Flickr now... most of the people I knew from Spymac post there now.
